Creator/Leader -
Description - This is the highest rank in SOF, this rank is currently held by "SOF ItzHavocc". This rank is un-achievable by any other member. Unless SOF ItzHavocc steps down, or gets impeached by the Alpha 8.
Requirements - Shows the most leadership, can handle situations efficiently and thoroughly. The Creator has to be able to organize and be able to talk formally with other communities.
Duties - Runs SOF efficiently and effectively. The Creator has to be able to deal with issues brought up by the Alpha 8 or SOF's Officers. The Creator has an important role in the functioning of SOF, and is expected to uphold this position efficiently.
Co - Leader -
Description - The highest acquirable rank in SOF. This position is currently held by SMKR CDUBMAN. The Co - Leader assists in managing the community, and acts as one of the head chairman for the board.
Requirements - Needs to show skills such as problem solving, creativity, and leadership. Needs to have people skills and be able to communicate and get along professionally.
Duties - Runs SOF when the leader is absent. Co manages the community, checks divisions and helps keep the Board in line. The Co leader functions as a main, and essential role and is expected to help run the community efficiently.
Board Director - BD
Description - This is the 13th position in our structure. This is the 3rd highest rank in SOF.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of any Officer rank up to General, must show proper leadership and maturity. This position can only be obtained if given by a Leader or Co-Leader.
Duties - Duties may vary, depending on the types of jobs given to BD's.

Chief Senior Director - The CSD makes sure BD's are doing their jobs and organizes BD meetings. The CSD is the Chief of Discipline for the Board Directors.
Chief Representative Officer - The CRO acts as a spokesman/consultant for the community members. It gives the members a voice. They can appeal to the CRO to announce suggestions, reforms, problems, or opinions. The CRO is a critical position, we need to hear the other members.
Chief of Affairs - The CA deals any activity outside of SOF. The CA maintains alliances, deals with problems with other communities, and attempts to get new alliances.
Chief of Security - The CS makes sure there are no "Ghosts" within SOF, or anyone from outside of the community looking to hinder SOF development. The CS also aids the CRO in reducing tensions with other community's.
Chief of Web Ops - The CWO looks after the SOF website, updates regularly, and updates media to Youtube and Facebook.
Chief Intelligence Officer - The CIO gathers information about other communities and is expected to know everything about SOF.
Chief of Operations - The CO makes sure that the divisions are functioning properly, as well as organizes competitive battles with other communities and within SOF such as squad and division battles.
Project Director - The PD organizes special events within SOF such as Tournaments, and other events with various communities.
Reports to - Community Creator
Division Leader - DL
Description - This is the 12th position in our structure. This a major leadership role in a division.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of the Co - Division Leader rank for at least 4 months. Must be appointed by the Senior Director. This position can only be obtained if a new division opens up or if a Division Leader is either demoted or if he or she quits or drops out of the Division Leader rank. Must also pass the Division Leaders Exam.
Duties - The Division Leaders must be able to exercise patience as they will be called upon to make many tough decisions that will affect the members in their division. They are the supreme rank of a Division; therefore they are role models to all the members in their division. Division Leaders are expected to uphold the Code of Conduct and show a professional and positive attitude at all times to all the ranks in their divisions. They are in charge of promoting and demoting within the division but cannot promote or demote to or within their own rank. They should stay active on the forums and should contribute to their division while encouraging others to do the same.
Reports To - Directors, Senior Directors, Chief Senior Director, and Board Directors.
Notes: The title comes with the responsibilities of running the entire division with good guidance and judgment. Also they are responsible for advising the division’s upper leadership through operational procedures, and expectations. They must attempt to participate in division meetings and communicate with the Directors and Senior Directors to ensure a prospering division.
Co - Division Leader - CDL
Description - This is the 11th position in our structure. This is a rather large leadership role in the division.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of the Division Director rank for at least 6 months. Must be appointed by the Senior Director. This position can only be obtained if a new division opens up or if a Co Division Leader is either demoted, or if he or she quits or drops out of the Co - Division Leader rank, or if a Co - Division Leader is promoted to Division Leader.
Duties - Work with the Division Director to run and maintain a productive division, staying active on the forums, and should contribute to their division while encouraging others to do the same. They solve major problems brought to them by the Division Director. They act as a Division Leader when one is not present and represent their division at leaders meetings when the Division Leader is unavailable. They are responsible for suggesting the promotion or demotion of Division Directors and Generals with the approval of the Division Leader and Senior Director.
Reports To - Division Leader and Director or Senior Director.
Notes: They assist in running the division by providing structure.
Five Star General - 5GEN
Description - This position is given to those Generals who may become eligible for a promotion after a month of Being a General.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of the General position for at least a month. They must prove to have performed exceptional work as general and have growth in their squads.
Duties - 5 Star Generals oversee 2 to 4 Squads in a Division. 5 Star Generals are to coordinate with all positions below them and ensure everyone is doing their job correctly. They have to be fully trained in the Code of Conduct, recruiting techniques, background checks, squad list management and basic problem solving abilities.
5 Star Generals are to ensure that the Generals are running their squads in accordance with SOF Gaming Policies and Procedures. They are to be sure there is some form of officer training program in place to assist with the growth and knowledge of their squads. The 5 Star General should make sure his squads are keeping the clan management system up to date and all squad tags are being handled correctly. They are to confirm information is being passed down to the squads via their generals. They are also to work with the general on ANY and ALL officer promotions within their squads.
Reports To - Division Directors, Co Division Leader, Division Leader, and Director.
Notes: They are encouraged to work closely with the Division Director and Co-Division Leader to keep the division running smoothly.
General - GEN
Description - This is the 9th position in our structure. This is a squad leader rank.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of the major rank for at least 3 months and 2 weeks. This position can only be approved by a division leader or co - division leader. Must also Pass the Generals Exam.
Duties - Generals are to take insight and training from the Division Directors to help supervise their squads. Encourages growth of the squad at all times. Generals are responsible for all training within the squad. Generals assist officers on uniform checks. Generals are to ensure there is a Squad meeting once a week after the Division meeting. Generals are responsible for all promotions and demotions from Captain down with approval from their Division Director. (No Public Disciplinary Action is condoned) This is to ensure that there is no quick judgment calls, favoritism, and the best decision will be made for the squad.
Generals are to ensure they are familiar with how to properly maintain squad tags and Clan Management System. Member in-activity is based on general’s discretion. Generals must be aware of all situations regarding gamers who are inactive for more than 30 days. If a member is inactive for 30 or more days he or she needs to be removed and a message sent to this gamer tag letting them know when they are able to get back online they are able to rejoin their squad. Generals are to be knowledgeable of their division’s procedure on squad to squad transfers, as well as notify proper leaders of members who are interested in transferring divisions.
Each General is expected to stay active on the forums Generals are to be a role model for all leadership in their squad by setting an example.
Teams – Each squad is permitted to have specific teams based on member interest, for example: Pro Teams (MLG based gameplay), Forge, SWAT, Snipers/Quick Scope, Search and Destroy, Objective based games. Generals are expected to provide supervision over Team Captains to manage the organization of each squad team, and to ensure the communication of practice times and possible matches.
Squad Activities – The following is a list of standard squad activities that Generals must enforce:
Custom games – Generals are asked to supervise the officers, and to keep game nights active. Encourage association with members of all ranks of the squad to build relations. Generals are asked to participate in game nights, when available to familiarize themselves with the members.
Recruiting Parties – Encouraging officers to inspire the growth of the squad at all times by motivating them to recruit quality members into the squad. Generals are to evaluate officer staff and make sure proper recruiting techniques are being passed down to all lower ranks.

Notes: They are the supreme rank in an SOF Gaming Squad.
Major - MAJ
Description - This is the 8th position in our structure. This is a co - squad leader rank.
Requirements - This rank is only achieved when a new squad has opened up and a new major is needed for the current squad or the new squad.
Duties - To assist the General in managing the squad and taking his place when he or she is not present. Majors must also lead Squad meetings; represent the General in Division meetings if needed, and staying active on the forums. They are expected to help the General to solve the biggest problems of the squad. The Major is in charge of facilitating game nights along with the Captains throughout the week. This is where the major begins looking for the next leaders in their squad by watching for leadership potential in members, while also enforcing the rules of the Code of Conduct.

Notes: This position is the preparation to become a General and receive the opportunity to run a whole squad; therefore they are to be fully trained in the organization as one.
Captain - CPT 1-4
Description - This is the 7th position in our structure.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of the lieutenant rank for at least 6 weeks.
Duties - Managing, handling, and setting up squad activities. Giving guidance to their lieutenants of the squad. Knowing and recognizing all divisions in SOF Gaming and who is in charge of them. Knowing all the Board Director positions and who holds them.
*First Captain is the person who runs the squad when the General or Major is not present, and designates operations of squad teams.*

Notes: These are Team leaders of the squad they can set up there own team with permission of the General.
Lieutenant - LT 1-4
Description - This is the 6th position in our structure.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of the staff sergeant rank in the eyes of their squad leaders. Must have a SOF gamertag.
Duties - In charge of advising and handling members under lieutenant rank. Making sure all members underneath lieutenant rank is doing their daily duties in the squad. Lieutenants are in charge of promoting members who meet the requirements of the certain rank (Note: Lieutenants can not promote a Sergeant Major to lieutenant). Lieutenants are suppose to know and be familiar with every squad in the division and know who leads those individual squads.
*Lieutenants are the only rank allowed to be appointed as a Co - Team Leader underneath the captain of team they are on*

Sergeant Major - SMAJ
Description - this position is given to those Staff sergeants who have proven extreme leadership skills.
Requirements - Successful fulfillment of the Staff Sergeant Rank in the eyes of the Squad Leaders.
Duties - Handling and managing all lower ranking members of the squad, making sure all lower ranks are doing their duties and staying in uniform. Sergeant Majors are expected to work closely with the Lieutenants of the Squad and taking guidance from the officers of the Squad.

Staff Sergeant - SSG
Description - This position is the 5th in our structure.
Requirements - Staying active in SOF Gaming for a minimum of 4 weeks. Must recruit 20 members.
Duties - Handling and managing any officers who are recruiting, making sure they are recruiting the right way and by the SOF Gaming standards. Providing inspection on any new recruits making sure they are in proper uniform and enrolled in to the squad legitly. Staff Sergeants must recruit minimum of 3 people a week.
Reports To - Lieutenants, or any higher rank.
Sergeant - SGT
Description - This is the fourth rank you acquire in SOF Gaming.
Requirements - Staying active in SOF Gaming for a minimum of 2 weeks.
Duties - Sergeants are expected to assist with all squad activities and squad meetings. Sergeants are to ensure all members are staying in uniform,
and present themselves as role models for other members within the squad.
Reports To - Lieutenants, or any higher rank.
Notes: The sergeant position is one where you will be expected to be proactive by being assertive and utilizing initiative. Use this time to gather all knowledge, and partake in training involving recruiting, squad management, SOF standard operating guidelines, and procedures.
Corporal - CPL
Description - This is the third rank you acquire in SOF.
Requirements - Actively participating in a SOF Squad for at least one week.
Duties - Corporals are to take guidance and training from leaders of the squad. Know the Rank Structure up through Division leader and be familiar with who holds those positions. Corporals are also expected to participate in recruiting lobbies, and assist members with the recruiting process.
Reports To - Sergeants, or any higher rank.
Private - PVT
Description - This is the second rank you acquire in SOF.
Requirements - Must be fully signed up to the website, and must have their XBOX Live profile set up indicated by the division they are in.
Duties - Privates are to take guidance and training from the leaders of the Squad. Remain in uniform, according to the indications of the recruiter, become familiar with the Rank Structure up through Division Leader rank. Continue to be active on the forums, and meet other SOF members by attending squad activities, to include squad meetings.

Notes: Privates are encouraged but not required to change their gamertag to SOF. Any problems they might have should be reported to the Lieutenants.

Description - This is the first position in our structure, designed for those recruited into a squad and Division.
Requirements - Assigned a division recruit tag.
Duties - Getting and remaining in uniform, according to the indications of the recruiter, agreeing to respect the Code of Conduct. Adding Members off the Squad tag, starting to learn the Rank Structure up through General rank, sign up at sofgamingnation.weebly.com and meet other SOF Gaming members by attending squad activities.

Recruit - RCT
Description - This is the first position in our structure, designed for those recruited into a squad and Division.
Requirements - Assigned a division recruit tag.
Duties - Getting and remaining in uniform, according to the indications of the recruiter, agreeing to respect the Code of Conduct. Adding Members off the Squad tag, starting to learn the Rank Structure up through General rank, sign up at sofgamingnation.weebly.com and meet other SOF Gaming members by attending squad activities.
